EWU Celebrates "Uddokta 101" Batch-2 Graduates

EWU has celebrated the second batch of its "Uddokta 101" entrepreneurship course with certificates and special prizes for top performers.

The Department of Business Administration at East West University organized the Certificate and Prize Giving Ceremony for the second batch of its "Uddokta 101" certificate course on June 11, 2026, at the department's Seminar Room.

The ceremony opened with a speech by Abu Sadat Muhammad Ashif, Assistant Professor and Programme Coordinator, who spoke on the importance of building an entrepreneurial mindset among young people navigating today's evolving business landscape. Participants from Batch-2 also shared their experiences from the program, describing how it gave them practical knowledge and the confidence to strengthen their business ideas.

The event welcomed guests Mohammad Jakirul Islam, Head of SME Strategy, Innovation & New Business, and Khadija Mariam, Head of Women Entrepreneur Cell, who shared insights on entrepreneurship and the importance of supporting emerging founders. Dr. Farhana Ferdousi, Chairperson of the Department of Business Administration, also attended, commending the participants' dedication and highlighting the department's continued push toward practical, industry-connected learning.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates to all successful participants, along with special prizes for top performers recognized for their innovative ideas and commitment to entrepreneurship.
