The QS World University Rankings 2027, released on June 18, 2026, included 13 universities from Bangladesh. East West University is not among them.
EWU had previously held a position in the 1401+ category in the QS World University Rankings 2026. This year's edition, however, does not feature the university in any ranking bracket, meaning EWU has dropped out of the global QS rankings entirely for 2027.
The 13 Bangladeshi universities that appear in QS 2027 include Dhaka University at 600, BUET at 711-720, North South University at 901-950, BRAC University and Daffodil International University at 1001-1200, and eight universities in the 1401+ category including AIUB, Bangladesh Agricultural University, CUET, IUT, Jahangirnagar University, KUET, SUST, and University of Rajshahi.
EWU has not issued any official statement regarding the development at the time of publication.
